During 1983, "HITECH FIBRE CORPORATION" was established as a propreitorship concern to trade as an authorised dealer for fibreglass raw materials, manufactured by the then "FGP LIMITED". The dealership area was initially awarded for the State of Karnataka and subsequently, based on the impressive performance, it was extended to the neighbouring State of Tamilnadu and Union Territory of Pondicherry. To cope up with the growth of the firm, the company - "SUNTECH FIBRE PRIVATE LIMITED" was incorporated on 29th March, 1995 in the State of Karnataka, exclusively to take over the existing business of the proprietorship concern.
Due to management changes in FGP Limited, the company renewed its dealership Agreement with Saint Gobain Vetrotex India Limited, a French Multinational, established its business all over the world and having average Annual Turnover of US $30 billion.

Suntech Fibre Private Limited, has its head office at Bangalore and three branches - Chennai, Coimbatore and Mangalore with adequate ware-housing facilities.

The product range of the company and its Associate Firm include Fibreglass raw materials, Polyester Resins, Chemicals and Application segments. Currently, the company, with its strong distribution network meets the requirements of 500 customers representing medium and large scale industries located in different parts of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Union Territory of Pondicherry.
