The company was founded in the year 1978 by Mr. D.N. Ghosh under the name of Royal Security Services. Over the years, under his dynamic leadership, the company witnessed rapid growth and expansion. Today, it has succeeded in establishing itself as a leading security service outfit in Mumbai and in a large part of Thane. Major expansion took place when Royal Security Services took over an existing security company; P.R. Patell & Co. Pvt Ltd. This in turn led to the formation of a subsidiary firm Royal Kennel Services.
In 1986 the company diversified into the hospitality business creating a legend called Royal Challenge Restaurant. The restaurant soon gained the reputation of being the finest family restaurant in the northern suburbs of Mumbai.
Royal Challenge II was the next venture undertaken by Mr. D.N. Ghosh. His demise at this stage led to his wife Mrs. Reba Ghosh taking over the company accompanied by her son Mr. Debashish Ghosh. Set up at Thane, Royal Challenge II duplicated the success of its predecessor.
The group today looks forward to cross newer horizons under the watchful eyes and leadership of Mrs. Reba Ghosh and the dynamism of Mr. Debashish Ghosh (M.D).
