We are a group of companies based in mumbai engaged in various activities connected to Shipping.
Our Head Office is situated just opposite to the port of Mumbai with Branches and Associated Offices all over india.
Modest Group originated in the year 1986 as mere shipping Agents and subsequently expanded its activities to include Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Charterers, Ship Repairs, Supplies of Bunkers / fresh water and ship stores.
We have been handling, very successfully, some very prestigious international clients. Realising the need to be truly "internationally" recognised, we have now got ourselves certified by American Bureau of Shipping on Jan 2001 as an ISO 9002 company. This reiterotes our committment to provide quality service to our clients worldwide.
The Management of the Group is fully conversant with all aspects of Shipping activities.
Under the Modest Flag, the Group has three (3) companies :
1.Modest Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.

2.Modest Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd
(Shipping Agents/Offshore Representatives)
3.Sadhana Technical Works Pvt. Ltd.
(Ship Owners, Repairers and Industrial Fabricators)
We have our own workshop under the name and style of m/s SADHANA TECHNICAL WORKS PVT. LTD., and carry out all types of ship repairs. i.e. repairs to Main Engine, Generators, hydraulics, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, navigational systems, cranes and steel renewal.
We also specialise in re-commissioning of vessels and re-entry into or change of class. We have executed jobs under classification societies like, American Bureau of Shipping, Indian Register of Shipping, Lloyds Register of Shipping,Germinischer Llyod and , Bureau Veritas.
We also undertake fabrication for various Projects includes Storage Tanks, Structural and Chemical Plant Equipment.
We own / operate tugs, barges.
