Prem Industries manufacturers of "Mintoo brand shoe polish" was started by Mr. S.B. Bhatia in 1961. Mintoo brand name was later registered in 1963 and since then we have been operating from the same premises in Goregaon. Ofcourse over a period of time we have opened new factories to cater to the demands of our ever growing client list.
We are one of the few or rather the only manufacturing unit in the whole of India to manufacture both the shoe polish and Tin containers at the same place i.e. everything is "In House". All fabrication work and other such miscellaneous process are done in the factories itself and then passed on to filling process. In this operation every container is duly filled and packed accordingly.
Initially we had started only with shoe polish in small retainers, but as years progressed shoe polish was started to be filled in other sizes and shapes too alongwith these modifications other products like Shoe cream and car polish was also introduced. Today we are the No.1 manufacturers of Shoe Cream.
Again as years passed by, the operations which were done manually were transferred into automatic process. Now we have inhouse laboratory(testing facility) with an automatic chilling machine for drying of shoe polish and shoe cream resulting in consistent and continuous production.
Today we supply Tin Containers to Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, U.S.A.
With the advent of new machinery and modern technology we hope to conquer newer markets and explore further.
We have a factory area of 2000 sq. feet. We have machineries like Power press - 3 nos, filling machine, chilling machine, boilers, testing equipments etc.,
