What a human mind can conceive, man can acheive. This is once again proved in case of late Shri Mangatram. Mangatram Bros. was founded by late Shri Mangatram who started his career as an ordinary labourer. Later he worked for East India Transport Company, a british concern. During 1938, when this company wound up the business, they sold the trucks to their staff at concessional rates. Our founder bought one vehicle with the help of well-wishers. His hard work and vision brought the results. In 1934 the fleet grew to 4 vehicles, in 1938 to 8 vehicles.
We were the first to introduce heavy-duty vehicles in 1945 in India. In 1947, we were again the first to introduce big trailers with capacity of 40 tons. With rapid industrial growth in India the demand on heavy-duty transport industry increased tremendously which brought in more sophisticated vehicles and handling mechanisms to enable efficient lifting and shifting of gigantic industrial equipments.
