Rating
As per I.S specification switch fuse units are marked 415 volts but it stands upto 660 Volts. Ranges are 16 Amps, 32 Amps, 63 Amps, 100A, 200A, 300A to comply with I.S specification
Quick make and break
Its positive snap action ensure quick make and lightening break, independent of manual operation. It prevents loose contacts or does not allow contacts to remain off within creepage distance this eliminates undue arcing. Moreover the springs of the mechanism work only while making or breaking, otherwise they are neither in tension nor in compression. This ensures longer life
All copper and bronze components are of specifically hard drawn electrolytic grade for high conductivity. The brass components are either rolled or extruded so that there is no air up between the copper contact blades and the terminal. All brass, copper and components are nickle plated. The steel contact are cadmium plated to resist atmospheric effects
