We at Chandni have been in the business of handicrafts for the past 11 years and experience of the years has made us aware of the problems of retail handicraft dealers in India. The biggest problem is that since handicrafts come from every nook and corner of India, the majority of the dealers do never know about the entire range available in every work. The basic reason being the magnitude of the size of the country. The dealers cannot and do not for their convenience carry all the samples available. Usually samples of the slower moving items are only carried on tours because the better items are easily sold in their own areas.
This problem has been bothering us for a very long time. This site is an endeavour towards taking care of this problem.
