The above captioned company was established by S.Saudagar Singh in the year 1951. He was a certified engineer by the Govt. of Lahore (now in Pakistan). "AZAD" products are well known for their quality, performance and innovative design.
The factory is situated in Ghaziabad covering an area of 5500 sq yards, within the same premises there is a foundry, workshop and the fabrication shed, equipped with high accuracy machines and attachments. Our workshop has both Indian and Imported machinery, consisting of well known brands like H.M.T, Sagar, WMW of Germany etc. After the casting has been done in our foundry, proper inspection is done before the parts are sent to the workshop for machining. After machining, drilling & threading process has been completed, the parts are reinspected and only the O.K certified parts are sent to the assembly line. The fully assembled machines are given to a test run and then sent to be painted, again which is done inside the same premises.
As for as the fabrication is converned we have our own bending machines in which we bend the upper tank of the Hydram. After bending it, machines in which we bend the upper tank of the Hydram. After bending it, the top and the bottom shells are welded to it, To check wheather the tank is leak proof, water is put into them and if the water does not leak from any place, the tank are certified O.K. These tanks are then sent to the assembly line where they reattached with their valves and base bodies. The joints where the flench are attached to the base body or the upper tank is placed between them to ensure leak proof joints.
The valves rubbers are made of natural rubber, which is best for under water operation, because of this, the life of the rubber is longer and the hence no repair or replacement is needed.
